A surrealistic antartic mock-documentary?

Help remember the name of this this film, please. A surrealistic mock-documentary about an ill-fated antarctic expedition.
In color, but with some very old black and white historic footage collaged in of ships, snow, eskimos, a dead bear. An old Irish carpenter (the sole survivor if I recall) in a shack tells the story and reveals that he still has the footage from the expedition. Anyone know? Thanks.

That's the one I saw. Dunno where I got "the title is the name of the boat." Comes on a DVD with another film called Lyrical Nitrate.
