What's the cheapest mid-term parking option near Reagan National Airport?

Flying Out of DC-Filter: This coming Thursday morning, I'm flying out of Reagan National Airport for a conference. I'm going to be driving in out of Philadelphia and was wondering what the cheapest/safest parking option would be. I'm returning Sunday afternoon, so roughly 3, 3.5 days.

Reagan National has several parking options. It's also Metro accessible, so I suppose you could always park somewhere else and take a train to the airport, but I have no idea why you would want to do that. I suggest parking in one of the daily lots at the airport.

You could park at my house and metro. I live about 5 miles from the DC line in PG County, MD. Seriously, the hubby is fine with it. Email me at freckles at portal dot nothingbutshell dot net.

The covered parking decks at National are safe and very convenient, but not very cheap. The economy lot is fine and $9/day, I haven't heard any horror stories.

Although it probably is out of the question, you can easily take Amtrak from Philly to Union Station in DC, then take Metro to National, thereby parking in Philly.

You're best off parking there, in my opinion. Unlike Dulles, the economy parking lots at Reagan are actually convenient.

Park somewhere on the metro line, on the street, in a neighborhood, for free. Take the metro to the airport.
