Is there a place to easily discover new tv shows? It would ideally just list (with short descriptions) all the new series, and when they start.
With Lost, My Name is Earl, The Office, and How I Met Your Mother all on hiatus, I am at a lost for shows for my wife and I to watch. Is there a site that makes it easy to discover new shows without tons of digging.
I don't really care for news or rumors or anything else dealing with the shows.. Just a quick listing would be best.

TV Squad is a recent favorite.
Otherwise, go on IMDB and see what the writers of your favorite TV shows from the past are writing.

Laurel's TV Picks is on hiatus now, but generally that's a good site to see what interesting things will be on TV tonight.
You can look at her Fall TV grids to get an idea of what upcoming shows you might want to watch.

Get Tivo and let the tumbs up pick stuff for you?
I'd rather go back to black and white tv than give up my 2 dual-tuner directv tivo's.

Rent the dvds of Galactica or House? Or even the ones for Lost, if they have commentary?

In case you're not on The Office fanb0i train: Summer "webisodes" have begun. Granted, they're only about five minutes long each...

Response by poster: I have a DVR, not TIVO though. I don't so much want to have it pick stuff for me, I just want to be aware of all the shows upcoming. Dual tuner on 'er though, so I know what you mean about going back thilmony
Something along the lines of the Movie/Videogame/Music release dates, but with shows.
I guess I just want to see what the shows are, and then pick from there. The Fall TV grid is closest to what I want, it may just do.
Some good sites so far though all around!
Gnomeloaf, I didn't know they had started, but I knew they were coming. Guess that will eat a chunk of my time tonight.

Scroll down a bit for upcoming premieres if you don't like the grid.

Metacritic compiles reviews of various television shows and averages any numeric/grade ranking they are given. You can sort by season, too.
