23andme: download then delete, or must you wait?

I'm downloading my 23andme data and intending to delete my account there as well. It says a few pieces of this info will emailed to me "within 30 days." Does this still happen if I am immediately delete afterwards? Or must I wait for the emails to arrive first so as not to interrupt the process? Hazarding a guess and making up reasons that might support that guess isn't interesting or helpful. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Best answer: There's a warning right on the "delete" option that says when you request deletion any pending downloads will be cancelled.

Response by poster: Thanks! It did not occur to me to actually follow through on the deletion and see if there was a warning. This answer is what I needed to know.

Thanks for the reminder to do similar.

On the page after you have you requested a download it says the following

Important warnings to consider:

If you close your account and delete your data before your data download request has been processed, your data download request will be cancelled and you will not receive your raw genotyping data.
