I would like to cover and replace the text in this video and crop out the lady on the right. I have access to iMovie and Final Cut Pro. How can I do this?

Best answer: I played around with ffmpeg and ended up with this (from a 720p source):

ffmpeg -i [inputfilename.mp4] -vf "crop=625:720:0:0" [outputfilename.mp4]

This serves to crop the left-hand part of the video, removing the lady on the right. Of course for parts of it you lose the right-hand section where she isn't (i.e., when she's doing the demonstration it's full-screen). Check your memail I sent you a link. You may have to snip other sections of the original video and edit in your video editing software.
