Hi folks; Im using a Acer Chromebook 514. For some reason,my FB log in page doesn't show my notifications any more. I have to log into FB,and then i see the number of notifications I have received. Just to be sure,I have done a hard reset and a power wash on the laptop. I have also checked my FB settings,and looked into the push notifications . Still having same problem. Any advice? Thanks :-)

Can you clarify what you mean by "log in page"?

Also are you talking about visiting facebook.com in a browser, such as Chrome. Or about a Facebook app?

Normally Facebook wouldn't show you notifications, or any personal info, on a "log in page". Until you have logged in, Facebook doesn't know who you are and hence whose notifications to show.

Response by poster: Hi Klipspringer ;

Not sure how to answer that one,lol. I have FB in my favs, I just click it and it brings me to the page that has my photo-on the page it says "FB recent logins,Click your picture or add an account."
As a few days ago,there would be a number on top of my photo,telling me how many notifications I have.
Hope that explains it a bit better :-)

Best answer: Multiple people in my Facebook friends list have complained about their notifications recently so the glitch might be on Facebook's end not yours.
