Whitman Edition

Looking for a paperback edition of the complete poems of Walt Whitman, not the yellow penguin, but pulpier, with the same image (Eakins), but with more blue tones, and the cover was a full bleed.

Best answer: This one on Abebooks? I have it, matches your description, it is Penguin but before they standardized the cover designs. Mine is a 1977 reprint of the 1975 edition and looks like the photo in the Abebooks link.

(Sorry, I can’t work out how to link to a specific item on Abebooks and not just all matching copies, but here’s a link to the cover.)

Can you give a few more details, if it's not hgws's edition? When you say Eakins, do you mean this portrait of Whitman, or something else? Was it mass market paperback size, or trade paperback?
