Etching size?

I am looking at buying an etching for my home, but I need to know the size. It is listed as ‘plate size 1 3/4” by 3 3/16”’ and ‘sheet size 5 1/4” by 6”’. How big actually is this? Thanks!

Can you link to it? Is it a 1.75 x 3 3/16" piece that's matted and framed?

Response by poster: I believe that size is unmatted. Here is the link: Stephanie’s Lake View. Based on another piece of her’s I have, I think it is that the printed size is the smaller numbers, but the full piece of paper is the larger numbers, but I don’t know!

Best answer: Plate is the image and sheet is the paper it’s on. Barring any matting, the sheet size should be the overall dimensions you want.
