I can only eat so many S'mores and Rice Krispie treats

OMG, I bought fifteen pounds of vegan mini marshmallows. Now what?

I have started reducing my banana-pants purchase by making chocolate-marshmallow ice cream. But uh....what else? Besides the obvious.

Given that I have purchased vegan marshmallows, recommend vegan friendly recipes!

Best answer: If you want to stay s'mores adjacent but get something freezable, you could try s'mores cookies (your fave chocolate chip cookie recipe + marshmallows + optional graham cracker shards).

I would also use them in a chocolate bark or chocolate-covered mix. You could stay on the s'mores theme with graham crackers or do a Lagusta's Luscious style rock scramble with cornflakes and pistachios.

Do you have a dehydrator or can you borrow one? I would try making my own cereal/hot cocoa marshmallows if I had that many. It looks like people on the internet have tried it, some with great success and some with abject failure, so it may require some research or trial and error to get it right.

I think a warm melty marshmallow topping (like rice krispie treat binder) would be really nice on ice cream in addition to putting the marshmallows in ice cream.

I would also be totally shameless in topping anything sweet with a toasted marshmallow or five (cocoa, pudding, ice cream) or mixing them into cereal, trail mix, fruit salad, etc.

Best answer: In trail mix, in Chex mix, in Chex (or other) krispies. As "flower" decorations for cakes and cupcakes.

Best answer: If you have a vegan cream cheese equivalent you like, half cream cheese half melty shmallows makes a very tasty dip for fruits.

I also really like just eating them by the fistful with dark chocolate chips, ymmv.

Candied sweet potatoes for something non-(less-) dessert oriented.

Best answer: Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies.

Best answer: Fluffernutter sandwiches, but just push the marshmallows into the peanut butter to get an even layer of them. Best with oatmeal bread imo. Additional sliced banana will give you nearly a complete breakfast (lol)

If you have a food pantry nearby, marshmallows and similar things are a rare treat and would probably be greatly appreciated, if these are in multiple smaller sealed bags.

Best answer: Chocolate peanut butter stained glass bars (with vegan chocolate chips.) - hugely popular at work.

I've used them in brownies.

Or bake sweet potatoes; cut the potatoes open and fill the center with marshmallows and then pop under the broiler.

Best answer: You didn't mention it in your question if you've seen it but Chicago Vegan Foods has a small page of recipes on their website.

Best answer: I usually prefer fudge made the traditional way but if I had a mandate to use as many marshmallows as possible I would not hesitate to make marshmallow-based peanut buttter or chocolate fudge, either for personal consumption or gift-giving.

Admittedly the recipes with which I am familiar use butter, but I think it pretty likely there is a margarine-based vegan-friendly recipe tweak out there somewhere..

Best answer: I had the same thought as Nerd of the North... Here's a vegan fudge recipe that uses 3 cups of marshmallows!

I have not made this recipe... Just that fudge was the first thing to came to mind and this one used the most marshmallows. Good luck!

I do not know if this will work with vegan marshmallows but you can make fondant icing with marshmallows and powdered sugar and a few other minor things. If you ever wanted to try your hand at elaborate cake decorations, now may be your chance.

I just saw a recipe for standard rice krispie treats with some cheese popcorn added in. It looked amazing.

Oh, I wish it had been multiple sealed bags but it is a giant box with a giant bag FILLED with tiny marshmallows.

Here to say that you can make rice crispy treats out of ANY CEREAL that is appropriately airy. Peanut butter puffins. Capt Crunch. Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The world of crispy treats is your oyster.
