Where do you buy blu-rays online these days?

I would like to buy blu-rays from places that aren't large companies like Amazon, Target, etc. (I'm in the US.) I buy them in person sometimes from Scarecrow Video in Seattle, but don't get over there too often. What small companies/stores are you buying blu-rays from online?

OrbitDVD, DiabolikDVD, Deep Discount.

The latter had a bad reputation a decade or so ago but I’ve been using them again lately and shipping has been fast and well packaged.

Also your boutique labels directly: Criterion, Arrow, Kino Lorber, Shout, Vinegar Syndrome, Indicator.

Barnes and Noble as well, but not sure that fits with your criteria. They have a bunch of great sales though, we’re just a couple weeks away from an entire July of 50% off Criterion releases.

If you head over to eBay you'll find tons of small businesses specializing in DVDs. Primarily used but also new old stock etc. I can't recommend any one in particular but I've never had a problem with this type of seller, and I've been buying a decent amount of DVDs this way recently.

I'm getting them from thrift stores. They aren't scratched or anything and I'm enjoying watching what I want instead of waiting for it to stream.

Bull Moose, based here in Maine. They're a small, employee owned chain (about 10 stores). They're a great company and they sell not only DVDs but also games and books and a bunch of other stuff.

If you're looking for more niche stuff, I believe Facets Multimedia in Chicago will sell online/by mail order.

Second vote for Bull Moose in New England - sizeable inventory and they'll also do a search - they've found me some obscure titles over the years :-) also good marks for customer service and shipping

I'll second DiabolikDVD; reputable and reliable.

Hamilton Book is also interesting -- they do very deep discounts on a pretty random range of discs. I think it's some kind of consignment deal to move leftover lots. Every now and then I find a gem there.
