Trustworthy brands for organic cotton clothes

I understand that not all organic cotton is equal. Which brand(s) do you trust for their procurement and ethical practices?

I buy much of my clothing used, but for my occasional new clothing purchases, I'd like to find organic cotton brands that I can trust, for environmental reasons.

In particular, I usually buy new men's boxers to use as underwear and sleepwear. I'd like to switch from my usual (Hanes/Fruit-Of-The-Loom) to organic cotton, if I could find a trustworthy source.

Also, T-shirts.

Best answer: If you’re okay with boxer briefs instead of boxers

Pact organic cotton boxer briefs - GOTS certified and fair trade certified

Quince 4” (also comes in 8”) trunks - OCS certified, OEKO-TEX certified, WRAP certified (that one seems to be a type of fair trade certification)

Both brands also carry a variety of organic cotton t shirts, etc. Oh and I just noticed Pact also has regular boxer style as well.

Best answer: You might checkout DoneGood. I've found a lot of great, sustainable, ethical brands here. It's how I found Pact (mentioned above).

I’ve been really happy with Pact! They have free returns, too, so you can try out a few styles.
