Best sneakers without laces?

Yeah, I'm looking for a great sneaker WITHOUT laces (a "slip-on" shoe).

I have Sketchers, something like these, and they're really comfortable, but I'd like a shoe with more support for longer walks on city streets. Also: needs to be black. And not have a white band around the bottom as is popular now (i.e., ALL black slip-on good support sneakers).

NOTE: I have Merrell Jungle Mocs too and they're fine but a little stiff. I want sneakers because they're lighter feeling and looking (maybe).

Since you're on the Sketchers bandwagon already, I've recently purchased this shoe but I haven't actually worn them yet. They look like they match your requirements but I can't recommend them 100% yet because they're still in the box in my closet, but I assume they're fine. In case the pic isn't clear, it is a slip-on; the laces are stretchy. Note that's the canadian store, but I assume they're also available in the US.

(My daily wear Sketchers is this one, but doesn't match your color requirements).

Response by poster: OH I'm going to be clearer about this now --- when I say "slip-on" I mean NO LACES. Even if you don't have to tie them, I just don't like the look of laces.

thanks, sorry that I wasn't clear before.

Feelgrounds has a black on black slip on... but it would depend what you mean by support. I would find your linked shoe unbearable. I have walked thousands of miles in Feelgrounds shoes, but have very strong feet and prefer no support.

Not a personal recommendation, but maybe see if you can find something like this from Clark's in your region/area. (I find Clark's very hit and miss. When they fit and they're comfortable, they're fabulous. When they don't they're a nightmare.)

Maybe these Allbirds, which come in an all black version?

I have a friend who loves these Allbirds - all black, no laces (not the same as the ones linked above - these are running/walking shoes).

Kiziks are excellent for handsfree wear and removal, and although many of their models have laces, not all do. Maybe peruse the site and see if anything looks good to you?

How about a totally black pair of Vans?

I have these Ryka slip-ons that come in a black & grey combo but not quite all black. I like them a lot.

I haven't tried This other style which does come in black on black, but would probably try them out.

I've been wearing Kiziks for a couple years now, and not only are they comfortable they've held up shockingly well to daily wear. I wear a different style, but their Venice style might be what you're looking for.

IMO the Adidas Puremotion sneakers are the most comfortable shoes for long walks, I have two pairs and will soon buy more in different colors. I have some trouble with one ankle so I need strong support for walking and I have never had a better sneaker.

I wear Propet shoes, but that's mainly because they stock 6E / XXW on Amazon. They absolutely come in all black, and many walking shoes are available as laceless (two hook-n-loop bands).

FWIW, New Balance and Avia also has all black shoes, but don't recall which ones are laceless.

I have fairly small feet with high arches, I wear some variation of these Puma shoes everywhere. Public transit, work, doesn't matter.
They have a few other laceless styles. I tend to buy the cheapest solid black on sale from Puma ( laces or laceless) when I need a new pair, because I'm not too picky. Puma shoes fit my feet really well and the laceless ones work just as well a the laced ones for me.

I have and like the Allbirds that were linked above but I sub out the removable wool insole for an over the counter insole (Powersteps for me, but YMMV) for a little additional support.
