office or other quiet space with internet in Barre, VT Monday 4/8

A friend of mine is going to be in Barre, VT, on Monday for the eclipse, but he has to attend a virtual meeting (the final thesis defense of a student!) from 10-11:30am. He is hoping to find a corner of a non-profit or other space not too far from the historic district of Barre in exchange for donating to the organization. He is also happy to do the same for someone's living room. All he needs is a chair and some internet. We'll keep an eye on responses her, or you can memail me or email him at [e-mail]. Not exactly what you asked for, but libraries often have study rooms. And Kinko's used to rent rooms by the hour.

Might be worth touching base with Local 64, which is a coworker space in Montpelier, about 20 minutes away from Barre.

Whatever he does, he should not count on cellular data working for this. I don't know about Barre specifically, but the general take in VT is that cell networks are likely to get overwhelmed.
