How to sync my contacts in Viber

I have have an iPhone13, and just downloaded Viber. I cannot see most of my contacts, despite allowing Viber access to my contacts within my Iphone settings. How do I resolve this?

I have watched a few YouTube videos, but cannot find a solution that work or seems consistent with the most recent version of Viber.

There are no options within setting on the Viber app to address this. The most common fix I've found online is to go to "General" within settings and to click to "sync contacts". I can't do this as it's just not an option on the free version of the app I have installed.

Suggestions?

Perhaps the app only shows you contacts who also use the app?
Double/triple check your phone is set to allow access to your Contacts?

The support page also suggests deleting the app and re-installing.
