Fun in Phoenix/Scottsdale?

My best friend and I will be in Phoenix/Scottsdale in March for four nights. We're seeing a Cubs game, staying at the Biltmore, but would love other suggestions for fun. My BFF isn't a hiker, so unfortunately that's out. We're middle-aged and will have a car. Thanks!

Musical Instrument Museum. Heard Museum. Desert botanical gardens. Taliesin West if you like architecture. If you’re up for a very short hike (like 10 min, but there is a little steepness), Hole-in-the-Wall in Papago Park is nice.

If you want to go further afield (south towards Tucson) Saguaro National Park is nice. Tucson itself is also nice, so is Sedona up north, but for just four days may not be worth it.

La Santisima for gourmet tacos.

Seconding the Musical Instrument Museum, the Heard Museum, the botanical gardens and Taliesin West. The Phoenix art museum is pretty cool, as is the small Scottsdale modern art museum. Take a drive to Mesa to Organ Stop Pizza. The have a ridiculously large Wurlitzer pipe organ that is played while you eat your pizza. They even take requests. It's amazing. Also, I guess you'll see the stadium while you're at the game, but they do have tours and wandering around and empty stadium is pretty neat. I did the earliest one in the day and I was the only person there. Private tour!

Grand Canyon? The drive between Phoenix and Flagstaff is great - probably among the best in the US, and just going along the edge of The Grand Canyon is fine. You can take a train from Williams (or drive), and the entire experience could be done in a day or one overnight stay along the way, which includes Sedona, Flagstaff, and Williams, all nice places.

Oh, my wife says to go to the Sugar Bowl in Scottsdale. Cute ice cream parlor that hasn't changed much since 1958. Featured in Family Circus cartoons.

Cosanti is one of my favorite places ever. Weird architecture and a bronze/ceramic foundry. If you're staying at the Biltmore because of the architecture, this would be up your alley along with Taliesin (obvs).

The Melrose District on 7th Ave has some funky shopping and restaurants and it's not far from the Biltmore area. If you're into craft beer, Wren House on 24th St is awesome.
