Pan/Tilt Unit

I am putting together a small studio where I may need wireless stuff, like a pan/tilt unit to make up for a small or no staff (at least initially). The units I've found have a weight limit of between .5 and 2 kg. The rigs I have on my three tripods include a teleprompter and camera.

Together, they weigh 5.4 lbs. Can a unit designed for 4.4 lbs, pan and tilt a rig that's 5.4 lbs? I assume some manufacturers build in some over-capacity. Otherwise, the units that are 3 kg use a cord, which means more wires between me and my master control, which is more clutter. If it doesn't work, I need to find ones with a wireless control and higher capacity w/o a cord. Can you help?

Best answer: Looks like there's a wireless adapter and app for the MP-360.

I would contact B and H Photo. Either call them or do an online chat. They're very good about being able to recommend things that work together; and if they don't know the answer, they'll get back to you. Of course, they only recommend stuff they carry, but they carry pretty much everything.
