I have one hat from a bookstore and want to have more hats from bookstores. Unfortunately, many of my favorite bookstores only sell the usual smattering of mugs and totes and tees. What lovely independent bookstore near you sells hats?

Best answer: Are we okay with a genre bookstore? If so, check out a fine hat from The Ripped Bodice, with locations in Los Angeles and Brooklyn.

Best answer: This almost doesn't count, but the National Park Services's Alcatraz Island bookstore has several different hats for sale on the island. The bookstore is obviously very specialized, and I don't believe you can purchase any of these items on the mainland.

Response by poster: These are all fantastic! Not to thread sit, but just a plug that I'm also open to hats from libraries and library adjacent organizations! What's more punk than the public library, after all?
