Cooking for one snooty woman

I’m looking for more resources like Jacques Pepin’s TikTok : simple, classic, filling meals for one person using mostly fresh ingredients. Or, bougie cooking for one.

There seems to be a heavy reliance on the le creuset mini cocette, which is exactly the sort of shit I’m looking for.

Best answer: Analogue, but you might enjoy the book Solo Food by Janneke Vreugdenhil. The recipes are easy to follow, fresh and a little decadent. The 'solo treats' section includes things like steak frites and oysters with champagne.

Best answer: There's also Anita Lo's Solo! Eater.com review mentions
Unique cooking methods — mimic the texture of sous vide fish by pouring boiling water over it; make gnocchi in a microwave; use the toaster oven to make kibbe — pop up in recipes that can be replicated with ease. “It’s easier to multiply than divide,” Lo points out.

Best answer: I haven’t had to look at it for a long time, but I really enjoyed what I made from Serve Yourself by Joe Yonan

This week's Splendid Table has an interview with Bee Wilson, an English writer, about her new book. It sounds like it might appeal to you.
