Is there a way to save/download slideshow content from the New York Times? I use OS X Tiger, and I believe the content is Flash. I would appreciate any help you can extend to me.

View source, and do a find in page for ".swf". That there is the link to the Flash source file that's embedded in the page. I don't know what you would do in Safari, but in Opera for OS X, you would open the Transfers window, and paste in the url of the Flash source file, and click on Quick Download.

Use Firefox, and the Video Downloader extension. If that doesn't work, there's a greasemonkey "unembed" script.
