Compilation of Studies on Effectiveness of Various Programs?

I recently found Crime Solutions, an online resource by the U.S. government that indicates effectiveness of programs and practices related to cutting crime. Do you know of anything similar for this or especially other types of goals? That is, I am looking for any well-done resource that indicates effectiveness of various techniques in any of various areas of social good, such as dealing with climate change, poverty, education, etc.

Best answer: In education (U.S. perspective), the What Works Clearinghouse is the go-to standard that you're looking for!

Not totally 100% if this is what you're after, but the team over at American Inequality includes a "Path Forward" section in all their work.

I like the one on Teacher Pay. But there are lots of others -- Hate Crimes. Cost of Living. Air Pollution. And many more.

Particularly relevant to current events, the US Army Field Manual 3-24 is (ironically) a good insight into how to control and or defuse violent uprisings or situations (particularly how to avoid the usual ham handed approaches). It's readily available in PDF form via Google search, and including from the Federation of American Scientists.
