Sixth Wedding Anniversary gift: Iron - difficulty: a lock

Sister's wedding anniversary, wants to give a lock to her husband. An "Iron" lock. I want to find a high quality padlock or the like. Steel is fine. "Iron" would be fantastic.

The current idea is a commercial padlock and have a "VI" engraved on it.

I would love to discover - I don't know - ornate or QUALITY, etc. padlocks or the like. Price is unlimited (I know that I can get almost anything commissioned if cost was not a factor) to remove a limitation. Practical limit is up to several hundreds of dollars (USD).

What are some search terms for old timey padlocks, like from 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' spaghetti Western era?

Anyone have a link for "fantasy" (like, swords and sorcery) padlocks?

Best answer: A quick Etsy search For “iron padlock” comes up with some nice options.

Best answer: Depending on their sense of humor, it's worth pointing out that shackles were traditionally made with iron, and are easy to find for sale online...

Be aware that vendor sites selling iron shackles may not be worksafe.

I don't have a lot of experience with individual sellers, but, for whatever reason, there are a lot of Etsy people in the traditional-wedding-anniversary-gift market.

Other good search terms to pair with 'lock' or 'padlock' might include 'Western,' 'train' (maybe an antique?), 'renaissance,' 'medieval,' and 'dungeon' (with Mitheral's caveat that results may not be safe for work).

Do look up Indian padlocks - they can be really ornate even if they are intended to be functional.

I searched for "LARP Iron Padlock" and got a lot of good looking ornate heavy iron locks with big jangly keys.
So that might be a good way to go.
