Looking for a TV setup that will optionally allow wireless headphones

Want to watch media from my computer, and without having to manually configure the bluetooth delay (this is the key). This seems possible since phones do it, but snowflake details within!
I've wanted this for a while, but I'm moving soon and will need to buy a new TV etc, so this seems like a good time to see what a good setup could look like.
Right now, I generally watch stuff via HDMI cable from my macbook pro to my TV (usually via the app VLC or iina, but the benefit of comp+hdmi is that I can use anything! streaming apps work as well etc). I do not use headphones or anything. But I'd like to be able to! But every time I have tried (both wired and wireless), there have been delays and I absolutely do not want to have to manually configure bluetooth delay in my video app. Phones are able to make it work, so it feels like something that should be possible, especially if I am buying new everything, but...I don't know!
Are there TVs that support this natively? That would be great. I don't need a gigantic TV.
I'd also be open to some sort of dedicated media server, though hard to imagine needing one given I'm using HDMI right now
Basically I'm open to buying things/setting things up (just once though) to make this work, but I want it to be simple to use and not require configuring delays.
Any advice/thoughts/etc?

Silly question: Does your TV support Bluetooth? Many recent TVs do.

Response by poster: I have to buy a new TV, so I can certainly get a TV that supports it (I'm assuming they automatically account for delay?). My current TV does not.

My Apple TV handles the bluetooth delay automagically to my headphones, and there’s a VLC client for it.

Yes, a TV will send its own Bluetooth signal, synced to the video.
