What Was Deleted from My Outlook Calendar?

Wednesday afternoon my calendar was full. I was out Thursday. Today (Friday) there is a spot open in the afternoon. I didn’t delete anything. Is it possible for a meeting organizer to delete a meeting without notifying attendees? If so, how can I figure out what was deleted?

On my phone, I turned it on airplane mode then opened outlook, but the meeting was already gone. I also checked my deleted items for Wednesday through today and couldn’t find anything there. Any other ideas?

I have heard of this happening if the organizer cancels the meeting but something goes wrong with their internet connection immediately after. The meeting is gone, but the emails don't go out. I don't know how to find out what it was, though.

Can you look for old incoming emails that added a meeting at that time?

There's a good chance the incoming email will be in your trash folder -- invitations automatically get deleted when I accept them in Outlook but they stick around in the trash for quite awhile before they actually get deleted deleted.

Your acceptance of the meeting will also be in your sent folder. You can find it by searching the word "Accepted" and looking through everything that shows up in the right timeframe.

If youre the meeting creator, it is possible to cancel/delete meetings without providing notifications to the attendees.

Do you have automatic acceptance turned on? If you do it might accept the cancellation without making you aware of it.
