Can I pay someone to thoroughly clean my bathrooms?

I want to hire someone to clean my bathrooms, including general cleaning, removing mildew in the shower, cleaning dark stains in the toilet with CLR or something, and removing caked in dirt in the bottom of the tub with something like bartender's friend.

Partially an update to this question. The maid services I contacted say they don't remove mildew or use abrasive cleaners. I don't want to hire different people for general cleaning and the other stuff. Is there any type of professional which does all of it?

I'd look into cleaners who do deep cleanings prior to people moving and/or new tenants moving in.

What VirginiaPlain said. I believe the term for this is "final clean". Googling that for your area should point you in the right direction.

My cleaners bill that as a deep clean, and I have to either pay extra for it and schedule it on another day, or skip a "regular clean" for it. When we keep on top of the regular cleanings, we don't really need this service very often. They are, however, the same people and the same service. I guess my suggestion is asking if they include that kind of deep work in another service they offer.

Yes, it sounds like you’re asking for a “move out clean” or a “deep clean.”

Best answer: One thing to keep in mind is that with mildew, a lot of cleaning companies will avoid promising that they can solve your problem entirely, because depending on your situation the only solution might be to re-do the caulk. (I previously worked for a cleaning company)

Talk to a local real estate agency and see if they can recommend a cleaner who does deep cleans/move out cleans.
