What movie or TV show: "I'll have a very dry banana daiquiri."

I swear this line appears in something I've seen in the last couple years, but I cannot find it via google etc. Does this ring a bell for anyone? It's possible that it's "a very dry" other fruity drink.

MASH? It sounds like a Hawkeye line.

It looks like banana daiquiris only show up in Officers Only and Mail Call Three, with no suggestion of dryness.

There are a couple mentions of banana daquiri in Doctor Who as well...

I also thought of M*A*S*H. This is what the internets offered up. "I’d like a dry martini, Mr. Quoc. A very dry martini. A very dry, arid, barren, desiccated, veritable dustbowl of a martini. I want a martini that could be declared a disaster area. Mix me just such a martini."

There is a scene in "Supernatural" where one of the main leads orders a banana daiquiri at a bar, but it's not "very dry" -- in fact, the dryness is not specified.

In case you're not sure, I don't think a dry daiquiri is even possible. So I'd focus on comedies.

There are dry daiquri recipes, but they seem to be a new invention. I assume this line was played for a joke, since you tagged this as comedy, right? It sounds to me something like Alan (Zach Galafinakis' character) in the Hangover movies would say. I checked the IMDB quote pages and did not find it there.

This is a long shot, but any chance it's JD in Scrubs ordering "an appletini, easy on the tini"?

This is familiar and also sounds very much like a Gaiman or Pratchett (who loved banana daiquiris) kind of line.

Could it have been something Jessica Day ordered in New Girl? It's on brand for that character.

You might have some luck investigating drink based TV tropes .

Timeless episode 13 leans hard on a banana daquiri as a plot point, but I don't think it has the "dry" (I really thought it did but googled the script and it's not in there).

Probably wrong ballpark but my first thought was Arrested Development because of the banana stand.
