Can you identify this pre-1969 aircraft fire test, from video?

This YouTube is queued to a scene from a 1969 documentary, which shows an airplane on fire approaching the camera. Do you know anything about it?

It's from the last of a series of videos hosted by Peter Jennings called The Fabulous 60s. Probably a ground test, with the aircraft unoccupied.

Best answer: It appears to be a DC-7 ground crash test from this 1964 FAA video. Some more info available here.

Best answer: Here's a better quality copy of the same video from the San Diego Air and Space Museum, along with a similar contemporaneous video showing a Lockheed Constellation crash test.

It looks like something that could have been included in Koyaanisqatsi

It is amazing footage - of a very expensive experiment. There have been some others such as the "Crash in the desert" with a Boeing 720 from 1984 (Wikipedia) . Or this 2012 crash of a Boeing 727. (Wikipedia) Note the pilots parachuting out of the plane just before impact in that last one.
