Like the title says - Brightcove streaming video - any way to save it?

I'm trying to download something that's in Brightcove streaming video format, without success.

Using Firefox and the Live HTTP Headers extension, you can find out the URL of the .flv file, download it, drop it into Flash and generate a SWF to play the video at will.

I have a friend who works at BC, but he's watching the Redsox right now - I'll try to ask him when he gets back from the game (ie. tomorrow).

There's a new firefox extension, Video Downloader, that unembeds all kinds of media, streaming and otherwise.

I like snapzpro , which allows you to capture anything that is playing on your screen. However, you'd have to buy it.

The game was rained out, so he's back early. As long as the publisher decides to use progressive downloads, you can use my HTTP Header technique or the Video Downloader extension. If they've chosen to use streaming, a screencap util like snapzpro is probably your only choice.
