Is there a way to get Apple TV to stop asking my age every episode?

So, I've been watching the TV show Unforgotten, which is a crime drama. And Apple TV keeps asking me, EVERY EPISODE, to click to affirm that I am over 15. I am 46 years old, is a way that I can get it to remember that I am over 15?

I assume you're logged into your Apple TV with an Apple ID account. You can see which account you are using on the Apple TV by going to Settings > Users and Accounts > (your name) > Apple ID. The first thing I would check is if you have a date of birth set on your Apple ID account. You can check and update your Apple ID at appleid.apple.com .

If you do have a date of birth on the account you are using for the Apple TV, are trying to stream the show from some service or did you purchase the show from Apple? Looking at Unforgotten on justwatch.com it looks like Unforgotten is not available for streaming on Apple TV+ (the service), so if you are streaming the show in the US on the Apple TV (the device) you are actually getting the show Unforgotten from one of the installed apps (from justwatch.com presumably Amazon Prime or PBS). If you are streaming the show, do you know what service you are using to watch Unforgotten? If you are getting it from one of these services you might have to check your profile in that app or with that service online.

Response by poster: I'm using a paid Britbox subscription on the AppleTV software.
