Can I transfer one Nintendo Switch account to another?

When I first got my Switch I was having trouble setting up the Online account under my email so we ended up setting it up under my roommate's email address. It's my credit card associated with it but just using his email address. Now I'm moving and want to use my own email for the account. Is there a way to transfer everything over to a new email while keeping everything else the same?

Best answer: Yes, just change the email on the account. You can definitely do this via the Nintendo website, and probably also do it on the Switch itself.
