1968 -1978 Bugs Bunny Road Runner hour DVD collection

Hi everyone; Im looking for the Bugs Bunny Road Runner hour DVD collection(68-71). Does anyone know if this is available for purchase somewhere? Checked online,came across a few sites that look sketchy,perhaps someone could direct me to a site? Many thanks :-)

If this doesn't turn up elsewhere, you can set up a search on eBay so you'll get notified if someone lists it. I've done this with a number of things I've eventually found, though it can take a while.

Best answer: I don't think that the original cartoon shorts have ever been officially released by Warner Brothers on disc in the specific way they were repackaged (with slight edits and new interstitial material) for the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour. I think your best bet is probably to find taped-from-broadcast VHS recordings from collectors online that have been digitized.

I would avoid buying from online bootleggers unless you have a very clear idea of what you're getting, and I definitely would not pay anything approaching a normal retail price. Anything higher than the basic cost of time/materials is gouging, since the bootleggers very likely snagged the files from a pirate site for free.

This wikipedia article on the Looney Tunes Golden Collection series has a rundown of the official WB physical releases. If you're looking to get as many of the original cartoons as you can, the Golden Collection discs (re-released on Blu-ray as the Platinum Collection) are your best bet. Warner Archive also just released the first Collector's Choice volume of cartoons that were previously unavailable on other DVD sets.

Yep, this recently-updated-ish fan Wiki entry says:

While there has not been a DVD release for this show, many of the shorts shown in the show have been released in their original theatrical forms. Additionally, opening and briding sequences from the show have appeared on Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVDs. An hour-long episode of The Bugs Bunny-Road Runner Hour is slated to appear on volume 2 of Saturday Morning Cartoons: The 70s, due out in October [of 2022].
