Where to buy single spiral notebooks w funny covers

It used to be easy to go in a store and spend $2 on a spiral notebook whose cover featured bizarrely edited animal pictures or Justin Bieber in rather strange light. Looking online, I’m mostly finding fancy journals, tape-bound ones, and fairly plain covers. I want to buy a bunch from just one site and of course prefer lower prices , including shipping. Any ideas?

You'll find more of these in a few months when stores stock their back to school merch, and you're more likely to find what you want at drug stores and Walmart vs someplace like a Target that has a more curated aesthetic.

I'd bet that you're a Millennial, like me? I hate to say it, but gen Z had a much more tasteful aesthetic than we did, and this is finally filtering out even to the cheaper markets so the Kids These Days can get the tastefully aesthetic school supplies just like their cool older siblings and YouTube/twitch heros have. We're just going to see less of the novelty stuff for a while. I can't tell you how strongly I personally hate this, and they can pry my skateboarding poodle folder from my cold, dead hands.

I would look where products go to die: Dollar Tree (other “dollar store” chains as well, though not sure which ones sell online for shipping).

Walmart has cheap school folders and has spiral bound notebooks; I didn’t check the covers. And Dollar Stores were made for this.

Daiso is great for this kind of thing!

I think Decomposition has some interesting covers, but unfortunately is very pricey. Maybe you can find some discounted ones out in the wild somewhere.

Personally, I'd get a notebook where I can replace the cover at will...
