Which bidet toilet seat should I get (2023 edition)

No electric outlet nearby, and it’s not near the sink. Would prefer that it comes with a seat (elongated) since we need a new seat anyway. No bells and whistles needed, but we are willing to spend up to $200 for ease of installation and durability.

I have this one and installed it last September. Amazon link. Easy to install and no problems at all.

I helped my parents get one last summer that was integrated with a seat, and upon testing it, I didn't like the fact that the opening in the seat was much smaller than the bowl. It really made it challenging to get my masculine gear pointed into the bowl and not touching the seat. This was not the elongated seat, but I could imagine it being a problem even for elongated. So my advice is to watch carefully for that problem.

For what it's worth, it's fairly easy to add an outlet in your house, even if you have no or little electrical knowledge. I've done it now a few times, with no problems. So if there's an outlet on the other side of a nearby wall, it may be surprisingly easy to add an outlet to your bathroom, which might open up your bidet options.

The electrified ones are super worth it compared to the unpowered (cold water, water line pressure only).

Tushy has a travel bidet. I picked one up, it took some practice, but it works pretty well. Price point is a bonus.

I have the Swash ecoseat non-electric. Less than $100 and it was simple to install. It is an "easy close" lid and the only thing I kind of don't like is that the lid feels a bit flimsy compared to my old wood seat - I don't feel comfortable sitting on it with the lid closed. Otherwise it is great.

We replaced a $30 bidet attachment with this Brondell toilet seat bidet a couple months ago. Love it and a huge improvement in, ahem, where the streams hit.

We first tried the American Standard version because that's the brand of our toilet, but the seat design was horrible, like sitting in a bowl. Recommend skipping that one.
