Help me find or remember a restaurant in Pittsburgh

In 2002/2003 I lived in Pittsburgh. In the 900 block of Wymore St to be specific, right off Steuben street. Somewhere west of where I lived, not far.... Was a restaurant in a bend of the road that was like an old house.
It was Full of very narrow stairs. I am pretty sure it was on Steuben or Steubenville but definitely not far from 900 Wymore St. I don't have a strong memory of the food other than it may have been slightly upscale but I was poor at the time and at there without it being a huge crisis. I remember loving it. Does this jog a memory for anyone?

Response by poster: I don't think so.... My memory is hazy but I think it's was just dark... Not super helpful I know.

But! I have had a version of this question before, and I’ve been able to answer it, so I thought I’d share my process. What I do is to find my starting point (in your case, 900 Wymore) on Google Street View, and then “walk” up and down until I find a building that looks like what I’m looking for. Assuming the restaurant in question isn’t still there, I’ll take that address and google “1234 Main Street Pittsburgh restaurant”. If there’s a restaurant at that address but it’s newer, you can google “ 1234 Main Street Pittsburgh restaurant closed”. That will usually turn up a local news article announcing the closure of the restaurant you’re looking for. Assuming it existed during the internet era (sounds like yours did), you can use Wayback Machine to find its old website, and maybe find some old reviews if you’re lucky. Hope this helps.
