Fine point gold pen to write over acrylic paint UK

I'm working on an acrylic painting and I want to add text over the top in gold. Can anyone recommend me a pen that will suit my purpose? It needs to be available to ship to the UK.

Yes! Pentel MFP10. Choose ‘extra fine’ and ‘gold’ options together at ArtDiscount to get the right one, or shop around for the same model (the photo is not representative as it’s of a medium-point one). The nib is 1mm.

A gold metallic Posca pen maybe? I'm not an art person but I use posca pens to "paint" the edges of my boardgame cardboard chits so they look nicer and it is pretty fabulous.

How fine? Sharpies come in gold metallic versions. I’ve only ever seen the standard Sharpie nib size, though. But, you can certainly get a fairly fine line with it.

Do you want to use paint for this? KingArt makes a pen you can fill with your own paint. They come in .25mm and .5mm.

Seconding the idea of a Gold POSCA pen.

They aren't exactly cheap, but I have used them over paints, acrylics, varnishes, onto ceramic, and many other surfaces. They're extremely versatile and reliable. The only down side is they don't have as much lustre as some other "paint pens", and generally need a gloss finish over the top to bring out the best metallic effect.

If you're going to write onto an existing piece you should practice with a similar surface. The amount you load the nib and the shine/absorbency of the surface matters.
