Google Maps Lists while traveling

I have a bunch of different Google Maps lists for a particular city (i.e. museums, vegan restaurants, record stores, etc.) and I'd like to know if it's possible to show only those places on a particular list on the map without showing any of the other places I have starred or saved to other list categories.

Right now, it seems like it highlights the locations on the particular list I'm viewing in red, but still shows all of the other places I've saved in blue. I have a TON of places saved for this particular city, so the map is just too messy. I'd really like to limit what's shown to the locations on one particular list at a time. If it is possible, I'm not seeing it.

You may have to use MyMaps instead of the regular google maps.

Not sure if this is universally supported, but at least on my Android phone, I can go to "Saved" / "Your Lists" then click the ⋮ overflow menu, then click "Hide on your map".

(Seems to work similarly on the web, though under "Your Places" instead of "Saved".

Response by poster: Thanks y'all! Tonycpsu, "Hide on your map" is close to what I need, but what I want is for it to hide others. Close though.

Soelo, how would I use My Maps? Can it import lists from regular google maps?

Not directly like it can with a csv file, you will need to do some intermediate steps to get your data exported and then import it into a new map.
