Best bowls for the Bosch

We replaced our haunted dishwasher with a Bosch, but our old IKEA stoneware cereal/soup bowls don’t fit well in the racks. We’ve finally broken enough bowls, however, to necessitate buying a new set. Do you have a Bosch dishwasher and bowls that fit nicely inside? If so, what kind of bowls do you have?

Bonus question: if bowls are doomed to always frustrate you during dishwasher loading but you love them anyway, what kind do you have?

I have a Bosch dishwasher. Corelle bowls fit great in the slightly-wider spaced parts of the dishrack.

These fit well. They are 1.4 inches high; I think anything similarly shallow (or even a touch taller) should work.

If you're into stoneware, you might like Polish blue-and-white stuff. I have four of my most faithful bowls in it, and they fit nicely into my Bosch dishwasher. They're also oven-safe.

The standard Corelle cereal bowls fit just fine in our Bosch.

I wish all my dishes were Corelle, they fit so perfectly in the Bosch.

Another vote for Corelle dishes in a Bosch dishwasher. If you buy those, make sure you get the made-in-USA line, not the cheapo Chinese line. Those are not the same quality and don't fit the dishwasher as well.

I have a Bosch dishwasher and the Adam Liaw Everday dishes. I am not sure how easily you can get them outside of Australia, but I love them.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the bowl advice! We bought a variety of Corelle and IKEA test bowls, and turns out that the cheapest IKEA bowls were the clear winners. They’re smaller than our old IKEA stoneware bowls, but they fit so nicely in the upper rack that I don’t mind the size difference.
