Where can I get this electric motor from?

I'm making a rock tumbler and I need a specific geared motor (RB30 or RB35). Can someone tell me where in the UK I can get one from?

I'm following this to build a rock tumbler. The specifications of the motor are given as: geared Motor: 12V, 1:50, 100 RPM, 20 Ncm regularly called RB30 or RB35.

The instructions say I can get one from Conrad but I'm not sure I can find the right one on there. Besides, the shipping is a bit expensive. Where else in the UK apart from Conrad can I get one from? (Links to the exact motor would be a bonus.)

If you don't want to screw around with modifying the design, just get that motor.

But the specs you have mean you can find a substitute if you are designing/3d printing the frame and gears yourself. The web page says current is .5-1 amp which means it's a 6-12 or so watt motor/load. You should be able to use the 20 Ncm to determine the Ncm at other speeds. If the speed if off, you can print a different set of gears to get the drum speed to be correct.

There are exact to close-ish substitutes on ebay, amazon, bangood, alibaba, etc.

Searching "RB-35 gearbox motor" yields substitutes from ebay, amazon, etc.

I think I would roll the dice on amazon/ebay/alibaba but a higher grade hobbyist shop (like an adafruit) might be a better bet at a higher price. As a sanity check, make sure a substitute looks similar (size of motor, size of output shaft, metal gearbox/gears).

Farnell have a pretty good selection of geared DC motors - how about this one? (See the datasheet on that page for the spec and a mechanical drawing.)
