Funnily little thermal printer

I finally has one! It’s Bluetooth and supposedly only works with it’s app. However I see there’s a bunch of these printers and a bunch of software, do you know of a better app that I could use instead?

My software is “starpany”, and I tried “Jotting up” but that seems to be for Wi-Fi printing, not Bluetooth, and “Little Printers” which really only is for those printers as best I can tell. Interested in any fun ways to get a little more functionality with my new toy.

There are a lot of GitHub projects -- search for "cat printer." See if someone has added support for a printer with the same name or form factor as yours.

Your post reads like Funnily is the brand of printer, but Google doesn't show anything with that name. It would probably helpful if you list the make and model of the printer you have. And are you printing from a phone? iPhone? Android?

This is the sort of question that really needs more specifics on the make/model of printer you have. I don't know that there is a generic bluetooth printer driver, or whether your printer supports it if so; it's entirely possible that the software is proprietary to the printer, but I couldn't say based on your description.

Response by poster: Funnily was a typo for funny, excuse the confusion.
Wenestvedt, that seems like a great jumping off point, makes me wish I’d gotten the cat one now (mine is just another of the many, will try asap!)
