Looking for examples of good comedies. My buddy and I are looking for inspiration for our film project! Thanks! (not animation)

I think The Dress Up Gang is very funny. Their stuff tends to be more in the 10-minute range, but they do have shorter stuff.

Did Frankie Pee in the Pool is great, and short.

Cute House is the best (a bit over seven minutes)

Just a long sketch that came to mind but this early Aziz Ansari "Other Music" video always makes me chuckle.

This short comedy by Martin Scorsese is fifteen minutes, but so great: The Audition

PowerPoint Meltdown 2 minutes

Girardi's Frozen Yogurt 8 minutes

The White Room 3 minutes (and really anything from the Chris and Jack channel)

Are We the Baddies? 3 minutes (and any Mitchell and Webb sketch)

Gorn VR is an Absolute Nightmare UpIsNotJump does video game commentary and his rapid style humor may or may not be what you're looking for. He does have a ton of videos done in his style.

One Minute Time Machine.

You say no animation, but are puppets allowed? If so, check out Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared.

It's 10 minutes with credits, but you still want to watch The Lunch Date, Palme d'Or and Academy Award winner 1990/91.

Je t'aime John Wayne is a love letter / sendup of French New Wave.

I know both of these because I got a set of the Cinema 16 short films collections years ago. Full list of films is on Wikipedia, many of which are not comedies, but might be a good source for inspiration. Amazing stuff.

Also, The Delicious comes to mind, though it's longer (~15 min). That link goes to a playlist of short pieces curated in the Wholphin series, which is also a good source!
