Looking for Reccs for New York City, Indoor, Covid Safe-er restaurants now cold is upon us? Including but not limited to large spacing between tables/High-ceilings/exceptional ventilation + not crowded?.

Lots of people are eating out indoors in NYC with abandon. Not me, not yet!

For Fall/Winter and the upcoming cold about those of us that would like to try indoor dining without being cheek-to-jowl with germ-bags in a small space? (Sorry small restaurants, I love you, but not now!).

Examples: e.g Jacx&co in Long Island City - when it’s not a weekday lunch. - High ceilings.
Grande Boucherie in midtown - very high ceilings, tables spread out.
Places like Jack’s Wife Frieda in Soho, if you sit by the GIANT open windows.

I realize indoor dining has risk. I'd like to minimize it.

Please note I'm NOT asking for a debate as to whether these precautions are sensible or not. I also realize (heated) outdoor spaces are a thing - I’d like to move beyond that a little.

Santo in Carroll Gardens has a small indoor space and then a giant heated and covered "indoor" backyard if that's the sort of thing you're looking for. There's a few restaurants in that area like this if you poke around pretty much anywhere with a backyard.

Loreto in Downtown Brooklyn. High ceilings, somewhat widely spaced tables (for NY), not very crowded on weeknights, and in a new construction building so I assume the HVAC is better than average for the city.

Also Pig Beach in Gowanus has a pretty huge indoor warehousey space that is generally much more calm on weeknights for BBQ and beers. Dinosaur BBQ is a pretty huge warehouse space as well, though can't speak to how spaced out the tables are.

Haven't been there yet, but Veronika might be a candidate?
