I want to use a heavy duty Swingline stapler #800 to tack new cotton velvet fabric onto wooden seats of dining chairs. What staples should I buy?

1/4" staples should be plenty long enough to get it done.

Surebonder #5 staples 44014 or
Arrow brand staples - 60x30 series/Arrow 60430 will fit your stapler.

Would you consider wood screws, maybe like this? There are many different styles and sizes.

I often use 1/4, but I also think 3/8 is better.

I often use JT21, but I also think T2025 is better.

Response by poster: For some reason I bought Arrow T25 staples 3/8" and they don't fit. DAMN
