Welding classes in Sydney, NSW

I'd like to learn to weld, for hobbyist purposes (i.e. I'm not looking for a new job), and am in Sydney, NSW. How do I go about that? Who runs a good welding-basics course?

Darryl does, if you mean basic hobby basic, and by course you mean "one three hour lesson".

Otherwise, there's nights at TAFE.

I worked with a guy who did a welding course through one of the community colleges and said it was good. The St George and Sutherland Community College has an 8 week course.
