Best way to edit text this pdf? (Chromebook edition)

I have a Chromebook and use DocHub to sign contracts. My resume needs a little tweaking (adding a few magazine credits, mostly). Is there a non-Adobe pdf editor (paid or free) that will let me do this myself, or should I pay someone? And if I do pay someone, recommendations? (Had a bad experience with Upwork where a guy did a terrible job and then emailed me a tirade of sexist abuse for days.) Thanks!

I would edit it in whatever program in which the resume was created and generate a new PDF. If you're adding things, that means you'll need to move things, and PDFs (and their editors) aren't really built for that.

If you only have the PDF, I would pay someone (if you're not capable of doing it yourself) to recreate the resume in Word or something you can edit.

I use Google Docs and export a PDF for each job opportunity without worrying about formatting going off. You should be able to import the PDF and edit it like any other text document.

Response by poster: Unfortunately when I open the pdf in Google docs, the formatting is completely off. This may be a job for MeFi Jobs!

Most likely, your best bet would be to recreate it in a format that you can update easily in the future. For a quick fix, yes, someone might be able to add a few items in Acrobat, but there's lots of variables on how well this will work (fonts, line length, etc.). I'm happy to assist or provide guidance if you'd like to memail me.

Sejda is a free browser-based .pdf editor, give it a go.

Response by poster: Thanks so much to hydra77 for doing the tweaks in a flash! Looks like for constant updating I will need to either have it recreated in InDesign and go back to Mac or have the whole thing redone in some sort of Word/gDoc template. But for now it's great, thanks again!
