I got some frozen shrimp late yesterday morning and left them to thaw in the fridge where they still are tonight, now thawed. Can I cook and eat them?

Absolutely yes. At no point did they get warmer than fridge temp so you are extra safe.

Yes, USDA says you can keep them one or two days in the fridge after thawing.

This is exactly how you're supposed to thaw them safely!

Get your prawn on.
