Looking for a night nurse for a newborn in Oakland!

Please. Her parents need to sleep! Who can recommend a night nurse for a newborn baby in Oakland, CA?

Looking for personal recommendations for someone, or a service you have used and trusted. I'd love to give my daughter and her husband the gift of 1 or 2 night's sleep. I have no experience with this sort of thing, so I'm looking for personal recommendations.

[Everyone is healthy and the baby is BEYOND ADORABLE but... the birth was difficult and everyone needs to sleep.]

Thank you so much!

Just use Care.com and find a vetted caregiver or sometimes rn.

I had a doula for birth awhile ago now - but in the South Bay... The person I used is no longer doing doula work. However, in doing my research, I had folks recommend other doulas - including post-partum/night nurses. It seems only one still has a valid website and offers night nurse services: Paula Calhoun

I found folks to interview through Blossom Birth
They have a program where you can get a referral

I'm in another part of the Bay Area but the best source I found for child care was the local mom's groups. Maybe try Berkeley Parent Network?

We interviewed folks from Bay Area Night Doulas as well as Trinity Night Doulas. (We ultimately went with someone who works only in the south bay). I found the night doula recs from my Blossom Birth underwhelming, it was mostly people I'd already found by googling and they time several weeks to get back to me (although this was a few months before my daughter was born and they do ask the dude date, so it's possible that's why).
