Help finding the Japanese dub of Sans Soleil

What it says on the tin!

I really love the movie Sans Soleil (make fun of me if you want). Per imdb, I recently realized there was a Japanese dub made: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084628/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm. I want to track it down! But I'm having no luck. Doesn't help that this is a somewhat niche movie. I actually have a friend in Japan willing to help, but we weren't able to track down which release, exactly, has the dub. The latest Japanese remaster we could find, for example, seems to only have french dub with japanese subs. I'm imagining that this could have to do with dubbing rights or something...so my guess is we have to figure out which particular release had the dub, and then find it used. But I have no clue how to do that! Would love any help!

Hm. I did some digging through reviews and blogs -- and maybe someone else can find what I couldn't -- but I can at least say it doesn't seem to be this version? (link, 2003 DVD, paired with La Jute; review and blog post confirm it's French narration only, and doesn't include the Japanese narration by mangaka Riyoko Ikeda/池田理代子).

Narrows the search by one, at least? Info on Eiga.com says it was released in theaters in Japan on May 23, 1986, so I would assume any home-release dub would be after that date. Oh, it also says it was distributed by the Athénee Français Cultural Center (link to their entry on Sans Soleil). I would try emailing them.

Additional note: the cultural center I linked had a showing of the Japanese dub as recently as 2015 on their schedule page. They definitely have a working copy, and may be able to tell you which specific version it is.
