what's going on with Lea Thau and The Strangers podcast?

I know that Lea has a Patreon, and it looks like the latest series in her podcast was early last year- "The Cape", and supposedly explains what she is up to. Has anyone heard the story? Is the patreon worth subscribing to?

I used to enjoy "Strangers", the podcast from Lea Thau. She disappeared for a long time and came back from a patreon page. I'm wondering what happened, and also if there is anyone who is a member, is it worth joining? Her last series of episodes was early last year, and I see that there are "members' groups?" what is this?

Looking for reviews of "The Cape", her latest series, as well as more info on her patreon page and what exactly is going on there, as well as other info/articles about Lea Thau herself and what she's been up to. Thanks

I used to subscribe and also listened to the last episodes from last year. As much as I enjoyed "Strangers" I feel like it's probably done for good and the only episodes now are of Lea explaining why she hasn't made any new, real episodes. I appreciate her openness and candor but after so long it felt like just so much complaining about her life, so I unsubscribed. The very infrequent updates were not at all worth the Patreon subscription.

Yeah, I really like the earlier episodes of the podcast, so it’s too bad that she has had a hard time. I think it’s better for her life to not be tied down to a set episode schedule.
