Can I mirror display of Macbook to more than one iPad?

I want to have two iPads in separate rooms that share content that's been displayed. I thought about mirroring from a Macbook, but I don't know if you can mirror to multiple iPads? It's for a kiosk display for customers.

Thanks so much!

The official way to mirror a Mac to an iPad is with Sidecar, but I'm pretty sure it only lets you do one-to-one.

Am I understanding correctly that you don't need any interactivity on the iPad side? If so, the quickest, dirtiest way I could think of to accomplish this is to share your Mac's screen in a video call (FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) with your iPads.

There are probably more reliable commercial options designed specifically for exhibitions, as well. I'll leave those to other commenters to recommend.

I'd start with VNC on the ipads. I think you can have mutiple connections viewing the same account on the mac, but I haven't tested it.

Anyone else know?

How fast does the content need to change? If you're trying to mirror video, you're going to need something way more performant than VNC.

You could try AnyDesk. I use it with both PC's and Mac's. I know I can see/remote control a single system from 2 different computers. I haven't tried multiple connections from an iPad but AnyDesk supports remote viewing of a computer from iOS. It might be good for your kiosk idea since you don't get any interactivity from the iOS/iPadOS side. It might have the same performance issues as VNC.

Response by poster: No interactivity and only displaying text every so often!

You can't with Sidecar, you can with other 3rd party apps (Duet Display & Astropad I think?).

Mac Screen Sharing is VNC. So you could enable screen sharing and use any VNC client on the iPads.
