lyrics to the Wheel of Fortune theme

Quite a long time ago, I read or saw an interview with Pat Sajak in which he joked that the Wheel of Fortune theme song had lyrics: "wheel of fortune, we love wheel of fortune, with ceramic doggies and some things!" Except I can't find any evidence of this. I may have mixed up some of the details - or all of them! Can you clear this up?

You sure it wasn't a cheeky reference to Kay Starr's Wheel of Fortune?
