Herman Miller Aeron Chair seat mesh replacement install?

Has anyone tried this? I have a B model. I've been researching and can't determine what the hex size screws on the bottom of the seat frame are.

Also wondering if it's as much of hassle to replace as someone people claim, apparently stretching the mesh to fit the frame is hard. Should I just spend much more $ to replace the entire seat pan to avoid changing just the mesh- seems like a waste but...? Thanks for any help.

(These chairs are really nice but each replacement part costs as much as a new regular chair.)

I found the Aeron recycling guide, and it lists T40, T25, and T27 Torx bits, and 5mm and 6mm hex bits. So assuming your bit set has those, you should be fine. It looks to me as if the back is removed with a 5mm hex bit.

Sorry, but I don't have any experience replacing the fabric - mine's still fine after 15 years.

Thanks for that, I have the hex wrenches but I need those Torx bits- that's what I was looking for.

If it's any help, most of the Torx screws on my Mirra (a similar model to the Aeron) are T30, which (curiously) isn't listed in the recycling guide. But most Torx sets should have both.
